WEEDS

sunburnt cheek
from watching
the geese go west

squirrels behaving
exactly
as they should

Koi
doing their thing —
vague radio

the yellow plant
has eaten
it’s name

moon waves
pixillate
the lochan

creak,
the sun patch
reaches the ladder

yellow cups, oyster catchers —
a fuss goes up
in the set aside

a kitten
paws at a kitten
in the clouds

another shower
hangs the jersey
a little lower
